Sam was born and raised in Greenville, attending Christ Church Episcopal.

He is a junior at Furman University working towards a BA in Religion. He is on the Sports Medicine team at Furman, helping the Athletic Trainers who work with the football team at practices and games.

Growing up, he was always involved in youth ministry, not only with his parish youth group, but also with the Diocesan Youth Leadership Committee.

He served as our Youth Ministry Intern this past spring.
